The Kenwood DSP-100 digital signal processor converts the signal into a digital waveform. This can yield greater signal purity with increased suppression of unwanted sidebands during SSB operation and improved CW operation.

The DSP-100 is compatible with the TS-850S. Physical:  10.6 x 2 x 11.5 inches. Operates from 120 VAC. The DSP-100 rear panel provides jacks for simple plug in connection the transceiver via supplied cable.
