![]() The famous "750" is back by popular demand! Previously badged as the Grundig Satellit 750, the Eton Elite 750 is an exciting portable receiver that brings the world to you. You will get complete coverage of all long wave (100-519 kHz), medium wave and shortwave frequencies as well as FM (stereo to the earphone jack). Plus the Elite 750 also receives the VHF civil aeronautical band (117-137 MHz). Your shortwave coverage (1711-29999.9 kHz) includes the reception of the single sideband (SSB) mode allowing you to monitor ham radio operators, maritime and shortwave aeronautical stations. You can select either wide or narrow selectivity to reduce co-channel interference. You can tune your favorite stations by the conventional tuning knob, quick keypad entry of via the 1000 memories. There are two separate sets of 500 memories. Page 00 is a band memory system of 100 memories for FM, SW, SW-SSB, Air, and then 50 for MW and 50 for LW. Pages 01-10 are 500 randomly programmable memories. The Auto Tune feature searches the band up or down scanning until a station is found. It pauses for 5 seconds and then resumes. You will enjoy the fidelity you have come to expect from Eton-Grundig enhanced by separate bass and treble controls. The radio features both an Earphone Jack and RCA phono Line Output Jacks. And there is even a 3.5mm Line Input jack on the front panel. Long distance medium wave (AM band) reception is possible because of the built-in rotatable, directional ferrite antenna. The medium wave step may be set for either 9 or 10 kHz. The display and meter will be back lit for five seconds if you briefly press the LIGHT button. A long press will turn on the illumination for as long as the radio is on. (Not recommended when operating from batteries). The sleep timer can be set to turn off the receiver after 1, 5, 10, 15, 30, 45, 60, 75, 90 or 120 minutes. The built-in 24 hour clock features two alarms (buzzer or radio). The right side of the radio has BNC and terminal-type antenna jacks. The Elite 750 comes with an AC adapter [6VDC 500 mA Neg. tip] or it can operate from four D cells (not supplied). 14.65 x 7.24 x 5.75 inches, 5.25 lbs.
