The Hallicrafters SX-101A amateur band receiver tunes these ranges: 3.5-4, 7-7.3, 14-14.4, 21-21.5, 28-30 MHz and WWV at 10 MHz. The dial is also precalibrated for an external converter in the range of: 50-54 and 144-148 MHz. Features include: ΕΊ" Headphone Jack, AVC ON/OFF, Calibrator 100 kHz, RF Gain, ANL, Mute Line, Antenna Trimmer, Notch, BFO, Speaker Terminals, Standby and Converter Input. The rear panel has speaker and antenna terminals and a converter jack. The cover is hinged. The circuit consists of: 6DX6 RF Amp, 6BY6 1st Mixer, 6BA6 1650 kHz IF Amp, 6BA6 2nd Mixer, 6DC6 50 kHz IF Amp, 6BY7 Detector/ANL/AVC, 6SC7 Audio Amp/BFO, 6SC7T Audio Out, 0A2 Voltage Regulator, 5Y3GT Rectifier, 12AT7 2nd Converter Osc, 6C4 50 kHz IF Amp and 6AU6 Crystal Calibrator. 105-125 VAC 50-60 Hz 75W. 20 x 10.5 x 16" 70 lbs. The earlier Hallicrafters SX-101 and variants (SX-101 Mark II, SX-101 Mark III and SX-101 Mark IIIA) were similar.
