![]() The Heil Heritage Broadcast Mic was the talk of the Hamvention 2003. It has a gorgeous deep chrome finish that impresses at first look. It houses the new Heil ProLine commercial balanced line broadcast element. This is a 600 ohm balanced mic with XLR3 output. It is designed primarily for commercial, vocal applications. But, it has a uniquely "brassy" sound on the air, while retaining its full-range frequency response, which produces outstanding fidelity. For any of the modern DSP-based rigs that have mic equalization built in, the Heritage is an outstanding performer that sounds great on the air. And its "cool factor" is extreme! The Heritage is fitted with a 3-pin XLR connector, making it ideal for connection to an external equalizer box. Or use the CC-1-XLR series of adapter cables for direct connection to a transceiver. Base and cable are not included.
