The Alinco DJ-V5TH can fill a variety of roles and it does them all well. It is loaded with technical features, 5 watts of output power and a wide array of operator conveniences. The alphanumeric display provides easy recall of (up to 6 characters). The 200 memories store band, frequency, offset, CTCSS, transmit level, tuning step, DSQ and alphanumeric channel name. You get CTCSS encode and decode plus selectable tone burst (100, 1450, 1750 and 2100 Hz). Built in temperature protection automatically reduces the output power if internal temperatures are too high. Three output levels are available (5/1/0.5 watts). A big 5 watt output is provided with the supplied EBP-46N NiCad battery pack.
