WIRES™ Feature

The VX-2R can used to access a node (repeater or base station) which is tied into the Vertex Standard WIRES™ (Wide-Coverage Internet Repeater Enhancement System) network, operating in the SRG (Sister Radio Group) mode. This feature may also be used to access other systems.
