The Drake DSR-2 is a laboratory grade professional communications receiver. It tunes continuous from 10 kHz to 30 MHz providing 100 Hz digital readout. Modes include USB, LSB, CW, RTTY, AM and ISB. The first tuning knob selects 0, 10 or 20 MHz. The second knob selects the frequency in 1 MHz increments. The third knob selects the .1 MHz position. The fourth (large) knob, which is continuously adjustable, selects the range of 0 to .1 MHz and displays it on the last 3 positions of the digital readout. ISB output is to 600 ohm balanced line. The preselector is marked RF TUNE and operates only from .5 to 10 MHz. With the RF GAIN control pulled out, the AVC is deactivated. It is light beige in color. Supplied filters included: 6, 2.3, 1.2 and 0.3 kHz. 120/240 VAC 50 to 420 Hz 35W. The rear panel features an IF Output and SO239 antenna input. 13.375 x 5.5 x 15 inches 17 lbs.
